Hey folks,
last year I opened a thread about 2005 and now it's time for reviews about 2006!
How was it in general? What had been good and bad? Your highs and lows? Most amazing event? What changed?
2006 for me was better than 2005, I'm still together with Carsten, went to Rock am Ring and Wacken, which was also my best festival so far! And not only because of the bands and beer... because I met two amazing men, Ross and Jack! One of my highlights! Another one was definitely the Trivium gig in Cologne on 9th December, because I met Trivium, some amazing people from the German Trivium forums and the gig was also one of the best... I can say it was my best night in life, a big dream became reality! I also had lows, which had been caused by school and other things.

Yeah, early 2006 was pretty fucked up.
But i've met some great people.
I've changed a whole lot.
So yeah, no complaints from me either.

Been a good year for me. Went to download which was the best week of my life, i've been to quite a few gigs this year, finally found a good paying job, started working out resulting in me feeling better about myself and just last night i told a girl i've like for ages that i like her and it seems she likes me too so hopefully things can progress. So bring on 2007.

good and bad... i miss my ex more than i ever did, probably because she completely ignores me, and i have no fucking idea why, all my friends are growing up, moving to different places, and 2 of them are even having / had kids... growing up scares the shit out of me, and i still have no fucking idea what iw anna do when i get older... but i guess this years been good, due to my job, my current gf, my dad quit drinking longer than he's ever managed before.... so 2006 gets the thumbs up from me, and 2007 should hopefully be better.

Id say this has been an average year..The only good things that happened to me this year were just meeting a bunch of new people, getting a new guitar and amp, and joining a band. As for the bad stuff..well there's too much to list or I forgot most of it. Either way there were some bad things

Does your current girlfriend mind that you miss your ex as much as you do?
I really dont' think that's quite fair to her.

i dont mention it to her. i keep it to myself, its the best thing to do. it doesn't affect my current relationship, and i dont want it too. i fucked up things with her, and im not gonna let it hold me back from another relationship.

Don't get me started. There's no way I could "review" this year (or any year) without writing anything short of a book.

all i will say is this year was one of the worst years for me, and it couldnt end soon enough... bring on 2007 with hopes it will be a better year!
