Fucking amazing show. Wow.... Trivium fucking kicked shit in. Than slipknot came and sealed the deal for rapping the entire crowd with "br00tal" metal. LUL.
Meeting the guys for the first time was quite an awesome experience :).
Also got to buy my pedal from Matt. I really need to try this puppy out. :D
Were any of you guys there?

I was there.  I was the red haired guy with my son at the meet n greet.
My son is the one that first got me into Trivium three years ago.
Trivium played a blazing set and then they were really down to earth and cool at the meet n greet.
They were really great about signing stuff and answering questions...etc!
Mayhem Fest is going to be awesome this summer!

Definitely. If only we weren't in a hallway lol... That was quite stupid. But yeah. They were really more casual than i thought. Of course i didn't expect them to be stuck up. But definitely they act just like my band does after a show. High on life :).
Mayhem is going to be 'br00tal'. I'm really excited to see BDM and Trivium on the same festival.
I love how Travis updated his journal thing after saying he needed to do it more yesterday night xD.

The hallway- that is probably out of their control. They did the best they could in regards to the situation.
Man I did not realize they were so young. I looked at Wiki today.  Dang...Matt just turned 23 years old.  ??
Amazing! I just assumed they were all 26 years old or so.
Their talent just amazes me even more now that I found out they were so young.
Yes, that was cool Travis updated his journal..ASAP!  lol
My son was certainly inspired to play his guitar after seeing Trivium shred and then talking to Matt and Corey.
He mostly knows Metallica stuff.
zzgothixzzx- good luck to your band. Let me know where you are playing and we will try to come out!

Yeah. It probably was out of their. But i mean I'm sure there was a better place. But then again we technically didn't have 'backstage' passes.
Indeed it is. When i saw Matt that night i was thinking 'man only about a year or 2 more and Matt was releasing EtE". Blows me away.
Thanks much man. :). We're playing next Saturday at Chaos Control in Denton, if you live around there. If Denton is too far we're looking to play into the DFW area pretty soon. :). I'll definitely keep you informed.
