But it's still great exposure for the dudes because Slipknot is one of those bands that have "sell out gigs". You know.. loads of people who might not even be totally aware of Trivium will get to see first hand what they do and possibly become fans!

No band can please everybody. Not even Iron Maiden

It was a shame to see them get NO response at all during and after their set. They just came on, tuned up, played their songs, and left. No reaction at all.

What you just described reminds me a lot of when I saw Job for a Cowboy play (between Evile and Megadeth) at last year's Gigantour, they got no reaction at all because it simply wasn't their crowd.
