Unlike everyone, I enjoy the artwork. Being quite capable with computers I could easily do my own version but with respect to Paul and his work, I'm not going to do that. And unlike MOST people, I can see the simple changes people have made to the already existing artwork.

I dont think he means that he dont like our edits... he just prefer's the originals.
I like the original and fan edits.. they keep the same concept but try new ideas with whats happening behind the "God" dude... its all mint stuff. 8)

Was not intended to be implied, but it seems to have worked it's way in there, lol. By no means am I questioning your respect for Mr. Romano.
The edits are just that, edits. They look nice, but the original is what I like.

Paul is a great painter and i'm a photoshoper. I wish i could paint like he does. but 'im better using photoshop as with a real brush haha.

The only thing i regret in the new Artwork is that the back is black again and again it is only one figurine in the middle to see. it's a shame.
The Painting is not sharp and detailed like it was for Ascendancy . The perspective from the hand on the sword is false... The whole picture looks like not really finished.
I did think he will make a new Bloodangel but seems the Angel did lost his wings or will not exist anymore. (???)
I think Paul did not used only his own ideas for the new cover and tried to put things he did get from the management and the guys. This mix with a Samourai armor... i don't tell it's my idea but Justin Arcangel really liked my Samourai version i made last year and that could been an influence.

The motives on the abdomen looks like something greek or from a Romer Gladiator and don't match the japanese style of the samourai armor. Another clue to attest my point of view : too much different ideas centered on the figurine.
Color choice : well it's a taste question. for me it looks cool.
I'm impatient to get the CD to see what is at the end of the rope... and sure finaly to hear it !

Once all the artwork is done and the CD is out so you can see it all, maybe we can get the whole meaning behind the artwork up somewhere to explain why he choose which colors and all that.
