Posts: 1508 Member #: 15,131 Joined: 09/15/2009	Atheist might be one of my favorite bands these days. They're a Technical progressive Thrash metal band from Florida. They're style just kicks ass. I uploaded a song from each album so you could see for yourselves: "On They Slay" Piece Of Time http://media.putfile.com/Atheist---On-They-Slay "Brains" Unquestionable Presence http://media.putfile.com/Atheist---Brains "Animal" Elements http://media.putfile.com/Atheist---Animal I'm going to buy on of these albums (I'm not sure which), with Mercyful Fate's "Don't Break the Oath" and the double Sodom album.

Posts: 2740 Member #: 15,072 Joined: 09/15/2009	I have to say that I'm not a fan of them. I don't think they're bad at all, but it's just not something I could listen to a lot. The rifs are really cool but I don't like the vocals much.

If actually try and listen to the vocals and read the lyrics along with it you might find how awesome it is. Trust me, almost everyone was closed minded about screaming vocals at one point. You just have to give it a chance Atheist are really awesome, I have "Unquestionable Presence" and it's easily became one of my favorite albums.
