Can anyone suggest me a decent bass guitar in the £150-200 range, probably preferably around £150, and it needs to have a left-handed model.

It really depends what sort of bass your looking for and whether you want an amp and everything else but:
Ibanez GSR200L
Hope this helps.

I have been playing bass for 16 and 1/2 years and I have a Gibson Les Paul Special 4 string discontinued in '98 and a Fernandes Gravity5x 5 string the same kind as Robert Trujillo of Metallica

Thanks a lot man, i was thinking of getting an Ibanez cos i know the cheap models are usually quite good. I don't need an amp or anything, i'm just using it for DI recording.

This is actually under your price range.. I'm about to buy one for recording, so I don't really care about quality tbh.. Not like I'm trying to learn bass, I'll probably copy what I do on guitar..

Cliff Burton was an insanley good bassist but i think that Paolo Gregoletto is a better bassist. They both have done bass solos but Paolo's solo was better. They both are also very skilled bassists but i still think Paolo is better.

I agree, Cliff Burton was certainly an amazing bassist. I do prefer Paolo though, I'm probably gonna buy his signature BC Rich after my birthday :D.

Paolo's bass lines are just beast, I mean, he's so quick with his fingers, like Steve Harris.
