The one in Kirisute Gomen just after Matt says "HE WHO WALKS THE FIRE BREATHES"
That tremolo riff makes me think "old skool death metal? aye"
Or Insurrection's riff.

That main thrashy riff in "Like Callisto" or the entire part overlaying the solos in "Shogun" at the end. Amazing, so fast and brutal.

I think the one that plays out best live is "Down From the Sky" though. When I saw them the album or the single hadn't been released yet but as soon as the riff hit EVERYBODY was moving.

I have a few favorite riffs here. The opening riff to Shogun is awesome to me, and I really like the verse riff to Poison, the Knife, or the Noose, particularly Travis' drumming.

My favourite has to come from Shogun the riff from 8mins 24 to 8 mins 36 is amazing, makes me wanna fucking mosh i dont care where i am. I don't care if i have to smack some old bitch on the bus if i have to get up and rock to that. Trivium you RULE. Can't wait for the gig next march. Wolverhampton 2010...got the tickets already.
Actually the riffs in Torn Between are pretty tasty also along with the solos especially the intro, i just think it is too hard to decide :P

Either Into the Mouth of Hell's verse riff or the pre-chorus from Down From the Sky. But there's also Like Calliisto's verse and Shogun's heavy bridge and intro. So hard to choose! So many amazing riffs!

definetly the breakdown in down from the sky the part where he says "this battles not the same which they have led us to believe"
the throes intro.
kirisute gomen the part after he says "in their wretched guts all they want is to feed"

and pretty much every part of the song shogun. i especially love the intro.
