Anyone got any tips on building a guitar? Because me and a friend are building a guitar each soon. Or are there any parts that you would recommend? |

I wouldn't advise it, unless your really sure about what you want doing. Otherwise, you could end up wasting a lot of money, or end up with a horrible guitar. |

I made one about 3 years ago.I bought a kit just to see if I liked the whole process or not.It was fine, but the kit was very low end and the guitar sucks.I also helped a friend build a stratocaster from scratch, and it's pretty decent.Sounds great, but the neck is slightly warped around headstock, making the string to neck alignment anything but perfect which in the end makes the thing go out of tune all the time. |
