hi, i just finished building a 2x12 diagonal cab as an extention for my vox ad30vt amp its loud but lacks major punch as its only a 30w, dnt get me wrong it sounds brilliant for a practice amp but i was thinking about building my own valve amp head around 100w something along the lines of a bugera 6262, marshall jcm2000 dsl100, mesa boogie dual rectifier. i was wondering if anyone could help me with this project, advice on valves what type/ how many, what difference it makes to the sound etc, circuit diagrams, websites to purchase parts from anything that mite be of help. i play a lot of trivium, parkway drive, as i lay dying, all that remains etc and the cab has 2 12" celestion g12t-75's in it and is wired up as an 8ohm cab at 150w.
