I've noticed a few peeps here have Burzum-related logos as their avatars, cool! Thought I'd open this thread so Burzum fans can unite and talk about Varg's great music. Favourite albums, songs etc? My fave album would be Filosofem, although Key to the Gate is my favourite song. Such a beautiful solo

I love Hvis Lyset Tar Oss (as you can tell from my avatar ), particularly Det Som En Gang Var, it's one of my favourite black metal songs. Filsofem's a great album as well.

Yeah, the song Det Som En Gang Var is fucking great, though I'm not a big Burzum fan. I'm more into individual songs than albums - I love Ea Lord of The Depths, Snu Microcsomos Tegn, Lost Wisdom and tracks like them. I probably prefer the self-titled album. War isn't bad either (though probably overrated)
I do think Varg is scum though.

People do need to read more into what Varg believes in, and how much of a charismatic character and intelligent person he is.
Everyone just dwells on "OMG HE LIEK KILLD ERONYMUS LOLZ && BURNED CHURCHZ"
I for one believe he's probably one of the most ambitious human beings alive.


and Burzum is always good, but the first album had the worst quality ever... and vargs voice was never too good

War is probably my favourite track..

Burzum have one song that i think is really amazing, the rest is pretty mediocre in my opinion.

but...but....thats the one song that sounds the least like Burzum.......it is a stand-out track I suppose. And its way too much fun to play on the guitar when your friends want you to play oasis

Yeah to be honest, i own a few Burzum albums but i rarely listen to them. I enjoy them when i do though.. I just strongly prefer other black metal bands over Burzum and find myself listening to their albums instead. War is a stand-out track for me though.. probably because i really enjoy Euronymous' solo.
