I own a Peavy 6505+ head, with an Ibanez TS9 (very similar to the Maxon OD), and I use an EQ pedal in the amp effects loop. I use the MXR 108 10 Band EQ pedal, it is pretty much amazing. You can really perfect your tone. I am getting a very Machine Head/Earlier Trivium/Arch Enemy type tone. |

QUOTE(MurderThyLamb @ Apr 29 2007, 12:42 PM) It's an alright tone. Just letting you know that tone doesn't always have to do with the settings of your amp, it has alot to do with the guitar's quality and density(thickness) of the wood, the electronics you're loaded with. Your playing style helps, too. Not everyone plays the same, so not everyone sounds the same. |
