Well, my guitar is getting kind of dirty so i want to clean it but i don't want to use anything thats going to ruin it so i just wanted to ask what should i use for cleaning the neck that won't ruin the wood?
Please answer quickly, i took all the strings off already without thinking about that lol...

It's only made of varnished wood, so you should just be able to use a damp cloth.

ah ok thanks, i didn't want to put water on it just in case it ruined it .

Don't fully soak it, or you'll rust your frets, just wipe it with a damp cloth and you should be fine
This should really have gone in Guitarists' General Discussion though...

What if someone would really do that? *shivers*

I find that the brushes you get with electric shavers to clean them are good for cleaning out a Floyd Rose.
But I let my guitar get pretty dirty before I think about cleaning it.

Is this right. the metal parts that seperate my frets, they are wearing down...... Like grooves wearing into them. Is that right? Cos i can never remember that with my old one, or i never took notice.

Well you're constantly rubbing metal strings against metal frets, i'm pretty sure it's just normal wear.

Yeah, and you can just get it refretted when they've worn down too much. With extra jumbo frets
