| Comment and question on Heafy's singing on Ascendancy | ||

Both on Ember to Inferno and Ascendancy....the clean bits sound pretty damn good considering Heafy said "he couldn't sing" back in those days. I was wondering if the studio patched up his vocals to make it sound like that...or if he was always that talented. I admit, Heafy has come a long way with The Crusade.....his voice has improved sevenfold. And if they did dub his voice on those albums.....how bad did Heafy sound. I have heard some live singing and I do admit......they sucked during Ascendancy....but I thought may it was because Heafy's voice was getting sore for being on tour. Thanks! |

He means live. In a studio, you can keep doing parts over and over till your happy. Live, you have one chance. That is where alot of techniques learned help the most. |

On early live songs off ETI his voice sounded fine to me |
