I guess that hardcore metal fans may not be pleased here, but my band THIS IS MY FAILURE are working on recording some demos to help get our name out, so maybe we can find some other musicians- so go to www.myspace.com/failingthismusic and lemme know either there or here what you think of our song Frail- its still a WIP, but I think its just sick in the tone- it was all done on a Sony Viao laptop and was produced by a friend of mine.

Sounds alright. The mixing on the drums could use some work, the kick is too loud.
The guitar tone sounds pretty good though, if I could get that tone on my recordings I'd be happy. One thing though, it sounds like the compression could use some adjustments. Sometimes the guitar gets a little quiet and then all the sudden it spikes for a second.

The drums are fake- just keyboard drums, basically, they were our click track. Yeah, we did that using a Peavey 6505, A Mesa Double Rect, and a Custom Audio amp head, all run through a modded Bogner cab. It was great- we only used Sonar to record it and a firepod thingy our producer had ... best thing is- it didn't cost us anything but time.
