Confused About Something

Posts: 173 Member #: 17,550 Joined: 09/15/2009	On the LLTF video why is the old bassist playing if it was a song off Ascendency and Paolo was on that album? And why is it a different version, I can tell its not the album version because of the way Matt sings the chorus.

They were anxious to get a video out? I don't know. Lol. They wanted to get a video out. Paolo came in in the middle of the production of Ascendancy I believe.

The bassist is Brent, he played bass with them for a while and eventually left before Ascendancy to continue with school, he's still friends with the band and came to the studio while Ninju and myself were there to listen to a few tracks. Nice guy. The video was recorded after ETI, but before Ascendancy (hence the different sound to the chorus) and helped seal the deal on Trivium signing with RoadRunner.
