was reading peoples comments on the crusade.. the crusade we didnt have as much time to make as we had on ascendancy .. only a few weeks .. but the next record we are scheduling alot more time to make it to really have the time to make a great record. we have been going through our material and def the next record we want to take all the best aspects of both ascendancy and the crusade and really mesh it into one sound.. cause each record has different things we like so we really want to take that and combine it and really make a record that people will love. We are excited to make it and really slam out a killer metal record and not feel rushed to do it.

That's awesome you're working on a new album! Personally, I don't think The Crusade was your best work. Ascendancy all the way! All the new artwork from The Crusade is amazing though. I don't mean to sound impacient, but how far into the new album are you guys?
And I love your new razorback v! Is it custom or is it a new model from Dean? The one with the red splatter... and I really would love to know what Matt's new guitar looks like! I want the signature guitar when it comes out! But I still don't know what it looks like. Just knowing there will be one is enough for me.
Keep up the good work! You guys are the most amazing and influencial band on the planet!

All the bands albums are a statement of where they're at. Ember to Inferno, a flick of fire starts, igniting their musical career, Ascendancy, rising up and touring all over the place, the crusade, taking it global, gaining loads of fans, conquering.

thats what i like 2 hear. i would love if u guys made a song as catchy as "blinding tears will break the skies" but also with the energy of "entrance" and "like light to the flies". that would rock \m/

You're genuinely retarded.
You haven't heard a single bit of their new material, and are already judging it.
Trivium haven't really written a riff in the style of metallica at all anyway... if anything, their music sounds more like Testament or Annihilator, in my opinion.
Also, I doubt losing you as a fan would be much of a loss anyway... so good luck with that.

If it still sounds like a Metallica knock-off, I will lose all respect for the band.
