Posts: 131 Member #: 14,664 Joined: 09/15/2009	... Different amps have different voicings...... There's no way ANYONE can just be like turn your treble to 8. Best to do is listen to the song, and tweak your amp at the same time till you get something close..

Posts: 2518 Member #: 13,389 Joined: 09/15/2009	Agreed, you can get similar enough tone from tweaking, but it's better to find your own. Control is very limited on most amps, unless you h ave EQ's and all of that fun stuff.

So, they now use mesa boogie. Remember though, Matt did use a mesa boogie head to record some stuff on Ascendancy for some solo's and leads I beleive.
