cover album?

has trivium considered doing a cover album? i think it would be great. they could do like ten songs from some of the biggest, and most popular bands. personally the covers i have heard them do/record sound better than the original.
if they did id like to hear these songs covered.
blackened-metallica
the trooper-iron maiden
cowboys from hell-pantera, i would say walk but a7x did it recently.
ace of spades-motorhead
holy wars, and or rust in peace-megadeth
angel of death, raining blood-slayer
chop suey-system of a down
caught in a mosh-anthrax
like father like son-exodus
iron man-black sabbath
don't flame me or whatever if you think its lame, i was at work and really bored and i thought this up. i think it would be awsome. even if it wasn't released as an album they could put it on the singles for the next album, it would get more people to buy them.

Lame.
Covers are only good when a band drastically changes them and makes it unique. As with MOP Trivium just played it close to Metallica did. Sure they did it fine, but nothing special. Most covers are bad anyway.

I don't really like the idea. I've never seen a band pull it off 100%

Maybe in like 20 years?

Entombed did it but it was 23 years after the first record and was only for fun. ( and sure to make some cash )
Trivium don't need to cover anymore - they don't have to prove nothing. They got their own style.
At the beginning sure it is like "look we can play as good as that Band"
or for fun changing mostly the tempo.
but now it's time for other Bands to cover Trivium. it has already began.
