u know they are both great the crusade never really gets old but shogun will get old the more u play it. so i think they are both equal but i also think the crusade made triviums popularity rise so the only reason shoguns doing well is because of the crusade |

If you replace the rising and this world on the crusade with vengeance and broken one its the best album ever. |

I dig Shogun more. The production on The Crusade was a bit dry if that makes sense. It had that thrashier sound, the drums were really sharp and the guitars weren't heavy enough in my opinion. Although, the fast parts of The Crusade are the best lol. |

there is no doubt that Shogun has some excellent vocals and the guitar solos are amazing.

I think as a whole Shogun is a more complete and stronger album. I will admit it took a bit longer to fully appreciate the album, but once you listen to it enough it will click, and you'll realise how special it is.

I think the Crusade is better , but not too much better , for me when I listen to it , it just grips and makes me think , yer this stuff rocks ! then when I listen to Shogun , its amazing but it doesn't grip me as much as The Crusade . and the solos on the Crusade are better me thinks |

I can't answer to this question! They're both really good, and really different, and I like them both. I can't compare them... At the momemt I like Shogun more, because recently I've been listening to it more than The Crusade. But if you'd ask me this question again in one month, I would probably say The Crusade. _______________________________________

Ascendancy and The Crusade are definitely bad ass albums but, sorry if you disagree, I think Shogun is the best BY FAR. So much more depth and dimension. They have surely gone in the right direction. That is my opinion. Regardless of whether or not you agree with me, I feel that I speak for everyone when I say HEAVY METAL RULES!!!!!!! |
