My favorite is Shogun because it has more scream and faster riffs than The Crusade, but i love The Crusade too. |

@kakos: Indeed i agree with everything this guy said.. they had more of that raw in your face thing going on.. but shogun kinda tells a story which i thought was freakin awesome.. |

They're both cool. They're different albums and can be appreciated from different perspectives. The Crusade is all the coolest bits of thrash Trivium style and Shogun is where, I think, Trivium focussed on distilling all that had gone before but writing in the context of creating 'an album'. Who cares anyway?! I wish the guys would play more of the Crusade live....not so keen on Anthem.... |

Mainly becouse they have become much better musicians since The Crusade, and Matt's vocals are simply amazing now. It reminds me more of the old stuff, than The Crusade does, and it has a more heavy groundbreaking sound to it ..
