My favorite is Shogun because it has more scream and faster riffs than The Crusade, but i love The Crusade too. |

@kakos: Indeed i agree with everything this guy said.. they had more of that raw in your face thing going on.. but shogun kinda tells a story which i thought was freakin awesome.. |

They're both cool. They're different albums and can be appreciated from different perspectives. The Crusade is all the coolest bits of thrash Trivium style and Shogun is where, I think, Trivium focussed on distilling all that had gone before but writing in the context of creating 'an album'. Who cares anyway?! I wish the guys would play more of the Crusade live....not so keen on Anthem.... |
