Earlier I had come across a video that was about how the internet was supposedly supposed to end in 2012 and figured it was a hoax because there was this really hot chick hanging out with these nerdie-ish type looking people. That video could be found here. Afterwards I was looking around to find out if it was a hoax or not, but than I came across this guy, in which you can view his video's below, named Alex Jones. I'm just wondering how many people out there actually believe this or not? Alex Jones seems to have labeled the video above as partial rumor partial fact, and he pushes out the actual facts with real sources.

Scientists also did advise that the Mayan calendar is off by about four years to our own....so the potential apocalypse could come in say, the last part of 2008 or in 2016, according to doomsayers. I put as much stock in this as I do the U.S. presidential candidates promises. People have been claiming that the world will end for whatever reason on a certain day for millenia, and yet the Apocalypse hasn't quite made it. Maybe a great upheaval will happen and the world as we know it now will change.
Oh well, I figure, as long as politicians don't jump on the train and incite mass global hysteria, which they could very well do, it'll just be another year.
/I mean I believe in 2012 being the Apocalypse, not the internet being regulated to within an iota of it's life

just type 2012 into google and check out all the stuff thats meant to end in that year. the world as we know it will supposedly change.
the proof not only come from that mayan calander that ends in 2012 but lots of other things have recently been popping up everything that show the end of an era in 2012.
I did some research a while back and its possible the magnetic polars will flip. I will check out this video later though.... coz it sounds interesting..we'll see what they have to say.

Never had a chance to look into the end of the world yet, my brother was talking to me about it a couple days ago, but I may have to look into that as well. I was looking up something about drums, and one thing lead to another (you know how youtube can be sometimes) and I ran across this. This Alex Jones guy seems to be leading a new world order. Hundreds of thousands of people are calling him a hero, and just as many are fueled with angst and hate towards him. Never heard of him before but now he seems to be everywhere.....

I believe this as much as i believed we were going to get hit, by how many commets? and all die.

This thread shouldn't be titled 'Death' of the internet.. That's not exactly what these people are saying is going to happen..

I created a thread here about Alex Jones' film 'Dark Secrets: Inside Bohemian Grove' a long time ago - and nobody seemed to give a shit ..but yeah, I like Alex Jones. He's like Michael Moore, except he knows what he's talking about. He hosts his own radio show which has always been pretty informative and has a website called infowars.com.. which you should check out if you're interested in all this shit.

Those videos have absolutely nothing to do with 'the end of the world' or any kind of 'apocalypse' or any of the other bullshit that is supposed to 'happen' in 2012.. All that is, like you said, a load of hyped-up conspiracy bull.
