Trivium will be around for many years to come and they will play many more shows. I think Departure will be played live one day.
Oh yeah and, it is indeed an awesome song.

They better play it on the Black Crusade though along with The Crusade (song), Broken One and Vengeance.

They may play it, they mey not. To be honest I think there is more chance of them playing The Crusade, Broken One and Vengeance during The Black Crusade than Departure. Like i said though, they may do.
With them having the seven strings for this tour they will most likely struggle to fit additional tracks from Ascendancy into the set, if they decide to play the seven string songs too.

It's cos of the acoustic guitar part at the beginning. Kind of hard to orchestrate live. I supose they could just play it clean on electric though and then switch

tbh I don't think they'll play any of those songs

Well if i remember rightly, Paolo did say they will play the B-Sides one day.

He did. They have also stated that they would like to fit The Crusade into a set too. OK, so it might not be this tour, but im pretty sure it will happen.

paolo can clearly sing like a eunuch so if he was just handed lead vox for departure they could play it

I think its more to do with the guitar parts other than the vocals. Matt has stated a couple of times that they don't play it because of the acoustic parts, but they could play them clean. This reminds me of Dyers Eve with Metallica (and that got played and was just amazing). Trivium should play it one day because of the popular demand.
