I could say the same for Slipknot but even though Im still a fan.. they dont quite have that special place for me like Killswitch/Trivium do.

Posts: 1 Member #: 22,026 Joined: 09/15/2009	This is one of the original bands that got me into heavy music along with linkin park and system of a down. They will always have a special value for me. I still listen to them all and still think they're good. Sometimes simple music is good music.

Disturbed isnt soft when the heaviest band you know is Metallica, but once youve listened to enough of whats out there, youll understand what im saying. I wouldnt even consider Disturbed anything related to metal, they are just a hard rock band that came out during the nu-metal days, just like how ridiculous it was to call a band like Linkin Park metal, or "rap metal"....why is that metal, down tuned guitars? that doesnt make a band metal.
