Do Trivium like Paradox?

I was listening to a metal radio station a while ago and a Trivium song came on that reminded me of another song, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Today I was sending someone an album I enjoy (Paradox- Heresy), when I realized that the song was Killtime! I recorded what I mean:

If this was intentional, then kudos for being Paradox fans since they kick ass. If it wasn't intentional, that's a bit scary.

But seriously that is pretty fucking weird.

Whoa...
Interesting.
Although this happens a lot of the time.. a riff someone thinks is new and original... someone did it ages ago!

its 4 damn notes, happened to be played in a similar way
it could have been an accident, or maybe they heard the song and played the ryhthm without even knowing it

Happens to me a lot.
I wrote a song, played it, and recorded it, only to find out it's the exact same riff off, episode 666

Most likely accidental.

yeah, same thing happened to me. I wrote a riff and it's the same one off of Watch Them Feed. I hadn't even heard the song yet when I wrote it.

my friend once did the nirvana come as you are riff without knowing it, so the chances of people doing same riffs are slim but still possible
