2005 I think, a mate of mine went to both London shows. Crazy fool.

Dream Theater last played in Glasgow in 98 or something.
I can't imagine Dream Theater at a UK festival to be honest, all the seats for the crowd would sink into the mud. (I actually had a dream about them playing Download on the second stage, and that happened.)

I was at the October 25th show, when they covered Dark Side Of The Moon. Amazing.

Radrunner, love it.

This doesn't worry me at all. Like it says in the news post, one of the songs is a 25 minute epic, so it doesn't sound like DT will be changing.

Dream Theater's 25-minute epics are amazing.

Yep. So it's Slipknot meets Linkin Park.

I know I'll probably end up loving whatever they come out with, it certainly isn't DT to listen to the record companies.
However, I'm 90% sure your'll hear a change in the sound for the album. It'll have the over polished shoddy production that's plastered all over Kerrang and be a mix between Octavarium and Train Of Thought. Personally, I think a lot of Octavarium is quite boring and doesn't showcase DT at all aside from the title track, and Train of Thought should stay Train of Thought.
Still, a Dream Theater album is a Dream Theater album.

I love 'Octavarium', that album and 'Scenes from a Memory' are my two favourite Labrie albums. Their first album is my overall favourite.
