Hmmm... from a drummers perspective, Joey is actually a very competant drummer. If you listen closely, he is actually playing quite a lot of complex polyrhythms at alternating time signatures at an impressive pace... Sure, he may not be as talented as Portnoy, Pert, Thomas Lang, or any other number of fantastic drummers, but then again, neither are most drummers for most bands. He has solid groove, and his solos tend to consist of quite a bit of skill, speed and endurance. He is not a very good band, i'll say that for certain, but as a drummer he is quite good.

Posts: 120 Member #: 13,268 Joined: 09/16/2009	Yeah, reading through it all people saying "Joey isn't a good drummer" How can you say that? You could argue back and say "speed isn't everything" But Speed + Technicality = Joey, which I think its safe to say makes a damned good drummer.
