ok possibly very dumb question but why don't they play dying in your arms live. i just don't get it

It's kind of their ballad song and they did play it live for quite some time. I think they just like to play the rest of their stuff more. And when you're on a limited time slot (not headlining) you don't always have room for everything.

Ergh Contempt Breeds is one of their weaker songs imo. It's by no means a bad song, but whenever I'm listeneing to the Crusade I always find myself just waiting for it to end. Lyrics are awfully put together, which is a shame when you look at just how good the lyrics are in Insurrection, Sadness Will Sear and so on and so forth. I'm pretty sure they used to play DIYA, in fact I'm pretty sure I saw them play it back in March 06. Long time ago tho But with so much material there's not room for everything. Personally I'm just glad they haven't forgotten ETI. Hearing Fugue live turned it into one of my favourite Trivium songs.

Yea I love hearing the old stuff live and they definitely used to play DIYA.

id still love to hear contempt breeds just cause ive never heard it live.
and they should play the storm and my hatred

they should play each album ...every song..over a few nights i'd pay for that.
