EMG or Seymour Duncan?

I'm thinking of buying a Dean Razorback V so I can keep my Dime in standard, but I'm not sure what pickups to go for.
I mainly play heavy metal, lots of gain & a good clean sound.
Also, what pickups are these? Dimebuckers badged up as EMG's?

Neither. Go for DiMarzios.
and the ones in your link are EMGs.

If you do go Seymour Duncan, get invaders... Otherwise. DiMarzio

Thanks for the advise, I don't really want to change pickups though & I've never seen a Razorback V with DiMarzio pickups.
If the pickups on that V I linked to are EMG's then why the hell does it say this in the description?

Dimebucker pickup (bridge)
Hand wound Dean Pickup (neck)

Maybe it's just copied & pasted from the other Razorbacks.

That shop is bloody great, I got my Dime from them.

In my opinion:
Go EMG if you play little else other than highly distorted metal.
Go Seymour if you play high gain metal but ALSO other stuff. I've found even the high gain SDs have better cleans than EMGS.

You could just get a passive pickup with almost the same output as an active pickup and not have to deal with the battery ...

If you want an EMG-81 sound without the hasle of a battery, get the passive version, which is the H4 I believe.
If you want more versatility and better cleans,go in the DiMarzio lineup and look for the D Sonic or the D Activator line,i've tried both pickups and I could pull off Dime squeals with ease and get great cleans.

HZ sounds nothing like active emg's, the battery isn't hassle at all
