Entrance of the Conflagration, the solos in this sound like a first attempt in the studio that theyve stuck with, you can make out parts and there are obvious parts where notes are missed etc....its quite un proffesional

You obviously have something against Trivium so why are you on this forum?

October 06, 2006 7:34:26 AM UTC Post #7

dude, you completely miss the point of a solo! A solo in a song is supposed to be the most emotionally charged section in the whole song, Its the point where everything builds to the point of musical ecstasy. If, in the studio, the solo was played and was part of the momentum and the spirit of the recording then the solo is perfect.
Dont forget, the song means something to the person that wrote it too!
And the solos dont suck. They are fucking amazing
And you should try to do better. Youve been playing guitar for four years so you should be able to write amazing solos that are perfect for the song and are full of such power that you become the greatest guitar god of all time ...... so why havent you, or are you just too damn lazy.

thats the stupidest thing i ever heard man , seriously lol
i dont have anything against trivium, just their new album
they are good guitarists but everyone, including themselves, thinks they are so much better than they are, and i also spoke to someone from a certain band who toured with them who thinks the same

Dude, pretty much every solo is tracked in one take, Every note NOT played is just as important as the one played, and every little error gives it it's own feel and emotion.
