I meant the over the top comparison.
I'm sure if I had no life I could go through every song Metallica ever wrote and find a part of a Trivium song that sounds similar enough.

you dont need to take pains to find similarities, if you listen to music properly you will notice them automatically without any effort.

Thats because theyre so "inspired" by them that they took that riff and recycled it. Check YouTube, you can find some more interesting stuff like this.
