One of the reasons my dad didn't let me go see Trivium tonight is because I'm going to Guns N' Roses with Bach's band opening in November.

QUOTE(Fugue)QUOTE(Lockey)My best guess is trivum have already kinda cracked the uk metal scene so they didnt need to prove they could fucking shred our faces off over here. So they went for anthem to get some radio play and more coverage etc
But This World or The Rising or Sadness would have been better for that sort of thing I think.
And I do think that showing who they are as a band is more important in a first single than radio play personally.
Disagree, the whole idea of a single is to get to out there as much as possible and out of the rising/sadnes/anthem id say anthem incapsulates the vibe of the crusade best.

Best Buy won't be getting any more copies of The Crusade until this weekend. I'll be checking in to see if the've sold, and maybe I'll move a couple out into the hot rock or whatever mainstream sections that are at the front of the aisles of records.

Well it was on Radio 1 tonight! So I think so.

Early reports say Lloyd Banks or Evanesence will be number one on next week's charts. Rod Stewart is selling real well also.
I was actally thinking that Trivium had a chance at top 5. Maybe they'll break top 10. That'll be really cool.
