It's probably just a question of time to release the single...
In the U.K the band have already built a strong fanbase and as such their name is known. This will mean that the single can be released and people will go out and buy it, it will also help promote the band further as it will get more radio play and will be easy to enable more fans to be picked up, especially if the single enters the charts. All in all it means more fans, more rocking out and more money (from the business point of view)
The main issue is it takes alot of money, so if you don't think you can sell an awful lot of the single, and you won't get in the chart, there really is no point.
Hence the u.s market has not been given a single yet, RoadRunner will be waiting till everything steps up over there, which means the single will be released in terms of being a video on music channels for people to watch, hence promoting the band still, but a really life in the flesh single won't be released.

QUOTE(tiberiummetalhead @ Jan 5 2007, 04:37 AM) I'm pretty damned sure that Entrance wasn't actually released as a single. I know it was the radio and t.v single but I'm certain it was not released as a proper single, much the same as was done with all the 'singles' off of ascendancy. Anthem was their first single proper.
Nope..Entrance was the US Single.
Anthem was the UK.
Dude, it does exist. I remember seeing it. It was on iTunes and shit...but it seems to have disappeared.

I'm pretty sure it was only a digitally released single on iTunes, and possibly on other music downloading programs as well. No actual cds were ever released.

It exists. There's a cd cover for it online and photos of it. And I believe Chris @ Trivium Underground has a copy.
