ok so i just heard children of the damned by iron maiden....... that guitar part at the start....metallicas fade to black at 52 seconds onwards.....almost identical!?!?!

Yeah I dont think megadeth is as popular, cause when I wore my megadeth shirt to school my whole class was like wtf is a megadeth? And told me deth was spelled wrong...but then again nobody really knows who iron maiden is and some people dont even know who metallica is..>_<

Sort of similar. Same with the clean part of Powerslave before the solo sounds similar to the clean part of Phantom Lord.

I think you'll be converted. My friend said she used to hate them but after seeing them at Donington this year, she's slowly getting all their albums!

lol may well happen. its mainly his vocals im not the biggest fan of but they are growing on me. as are megadeth actually

And if you're drawing comparisons with Maiden, is it just me or are Powerslave and Flight Of Icarus pretty much just the same intro lol?

lol well dont u find that loads of people get drawn into either Megadeth, Maiden or Metallica. i just ended up sticking with metallica but now im liking the others.
