QUOTE(Psycho Therapy @ Mar 27 2007, 12:14 PM) Do you like Korn?
I personally think that their success is attributed most likely to the fact that they play a very marketable style of music that is appealing to many, due in part to the fact that they mix their music with rap. As far as being decent? No, they are boring garbage.
10 years ago I liked them..
Doesn't mean I can't defend what they are doing, making a living.

IT'S AMAZING and I CAN'T WAIT!
Kay thats all I wanted to say.

If he gets to go backstage, I want to go backstage as well

QUOTE(awdboost @ Mar 30 2007, 10:43 PM) Let's not forget Metallica also played on the same bill with Phil Collins, Elvis Costello, & Eric Clapton, hows that for diverse? I'm glad Trivium is getting this exposure. It's a chance for fans of the other bands on this tour to see what real metal is:) and damnit I want Trivium to be as big in the US as they are in the UK. When I see bands like A7X and BFMV bigger than Trivium in the US it seems unfair because Trivium is a much better band IMO.
Eric Clapton owns Korn

QUOTE(Dark Angel Management @ Mar 27 2007, 11:39 AM) The Family Values tour is a great opportunity for TRIVIUM to tour on a diverse summer package in North America and play for fans who wouldn't otherwise be clued into the metal scene. TRIVIUM tours on diverse bills all over the world - e.g., Big Day Out in Australia/New Zealand (Killers, My Chemical Romance, Tool etc.), Download (Korn, Down, Satyricon, Metallica, Lacuna Coil) etc. etc.
Diversity makes things interesting and keeps it fun. The band has played with some great bands over the last few years in the US - COB, In Flames, Lamb of God, Iced Earth etc. - it's time to try something new.
Back in the day bands did big diverse tours all of the time - Iron Maiden once supported Queen & on another occasion supported .38 Special. Black Sabbath (Dio years) toured with Blue Oyster Cult and Journey. Metallica did a big tour with a bill that included Dokken, Kingdom Come, Scprpions and Van Hagar.
Best,
- Justin

Thanks.
P.S. I'm not buying the cheap 10$ lawn tickets.I don't wanna regret having to be too far to see Trivium. I've seen Damageplan opening for Slayer 2 years ago and it costs me 45$ and I was complaning all the time how expensive the ticket was but after the concert and especially after Dime died,it was the other way around. There's actually a bootleg of Damageplan of the exact concert i went to on YouTube. How cool is that?

What's the Dallas date?
