QUOTE(CrushingTheChristianCreed)QUOTE(Frozen Stormrider)QUOTE(CrushingTheChristianCreed)QUOTE(Frozen Stormrider)Oh yeah and Sacred Reich's "Death Squad" has a riff to rip somebody's face off. It's got more than one killer riff in there. There's a whole bunch. And about your riffs, I'm not really fond of all of them. But most of them are stupendusly marvelous to the ear. Like which? Well of course there's the purely awsome, Eternal Nightmare. The Obituary one was kick ass as well (it was Obituary, right?). The fifth riff was cool, then Spiritual Healing. I liked the next one, but I can't really recognize who it is, it's death right? The Kreator one was totally awsome. And finally I love the Whiplash one!

Guns N' Roses - Mr. Brownstone Metallica - Orion (2nd Riff - So simple but so so METAL!) Metallica - Leper Mesiah Metallica - Battery Metallica - Harvester Of Sorrow Metallica - For Whom The Bell Tolls Metallica - Seek And Destroy Megadeth - Holy Wars Megadeth - Hangar 18 Megadeth - Symphony Of Destruction Megadeth - Peace Sells Megadeth - In My Darkest Hour Black Label Society - Bleed For Me Black Label Society - Genocide Junkies Slayer - Angel Of Death (the hammer-on part and the riff after that) ...to name a few. And of course, a bunch of Trivium ones I can't be bothered to note again cos I think they're in a "favourite Trivium riffs" thread somewhere.

I actually don't think I have an Obituary one up there. Of course I think there are some absolutely crushing Obituary riffs, but as I said previously, I got a little tired of recording samples. Which riff did you think was Obituary?

That specific riff is from the slowdown part in "Serenade in Lead" off their second album, Last One on Earth. Their first album is total Slowly We Rot worship, but Last One On Earth has some awesome slow riffs thrown in the mix, too.

Cool, I'll check them out. Iced Earth have also some pretty riffs too. The Chorus riff of "Stormrider" so cool!! The whole riff of "Mystical End" is beautifull. The riff of "Desert Rain" goes awsomly with the vocals. The "Dante's Inferno" riff (2:23) is orgasmic. The riff of "Life And Death" (1:50) is a totale classic Iced Earth riff. I'm too lazy to put all those on putfile. But they all kick ass. Off Topic: Actually, I like Gene Adams's vocals, in blends well with Iced Earth.
