Left For Dead (About 35 seconds into the song) - Chimaira #3. Declaration (the "DECLARE FREEDOM" part) - Trivium #4. One (The double bass/solo part) - Metallica #5. I'm Broken (The riff that ends the song) - Pantera ------------------ #6. Symphony Of Destruction (The beginning riff/main riff) - Megadeth #7. Angel Of Death (The riff at the song's changing/half way point) - Slayer #8. Cloud Connected (The chorus riff) - In Flames #9. When Darkness Falls (The main riff) - Killswitch Engage #10. The Deceived (When the song changes near the end) - Trivium ------------------ And how could everyone forget "Walk"? It may be really overplayed, but it has to be one of the best riffs ever regardless.

Posts: 1998 Member #: 11,430 Joined: 09/15/2009	My favorite riff probably has to be from Raining Blood. Not the obvious intro riff, but the one in the middle before and during when he says 'Pierced from below, souls of my treacherous past...' That riff sends me fucking mental.

In fact come to thinl of it I love a lot of MDBs riffs... the main riffs from "I Am The Bloody Earth" and "Your River", the chorus riff from "Your Shameful Heaven", the one in the middle of "Crown Of Sympathy"...
