Yeah i spent like a week learning "Flowers Are Blooming In The Church" and "Aeris' Theme" for guitar, i couldnt COMPLETLEY Learn as it is played on a Piano. but i figured out most of it.
I also think than X has some great compositions, and IX is the best next to 7 (Musically and As a favorite of mine )

Man i cant belive i missed this thread, love final fantasy, all of them kick major ass, although i really ddint like XI or X-2, but 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ,7 ,8 ,9 ,10, and ,12 kick ass, along with all the strategy ones as well

Nobuo Uematsu is a master composer love his music, espcially on final fantasy 7, AMAZING Score he wrote for that.

I'm giving a guy my IX for his XII, it means I own XII, he hated it(XII), and I hate IX, so I think its a good idea.

I guess I see what you mean about the characters but the story is easily the best since 7.
Im a little unsure of the fighting system at times, using mysts and other such shit, ive been playing on and off when I get a chance am currently in the woods at some boss fight or other (very descriptive me )

Yep, it's pretty good. I'm only about half way through but it's a nice game. The only bad thing about it is the characters. They're sooooo boring.

I've just defeated that very same boss, I think. Elder Wyrm? Bit of a bitch, but at least it's over with. And yeah I agree, I was really let down by that pussy 17 year old killing rats rather than an emotionless bulky alpha male with a fuck off sword, but I've settled for Basch as a substitute. I think Balthier's okay too, and I think XII combines bits from XIII, IX and X but not so much from VII. I think that's where the characters and theoretic methods are missing a little.

I <3 this thread.
VII is definitely my favourite. Everything about rules.
I started VIII a couple of days ago, got about an hour in and stopped. Now I can't find the memory card that I used and I cant be bothered to start again.
I would play VII again but the first disc doesn't work anymore. :cry:
