Nice story there haha. I was told to listen to Trivium from a friend over Xbox Live, he told me to look up Anthem (We Are The Fire). I don't know why but I didn't bother to check any other songs from Trivium when I first heard it, which is strange because I really liked the song. Earlier last year I decided to and I've been hooked ever since. I went to see them in March when they were playing in Glasgow at Barrowlands, mental concert and I will certainly never forget it. :) |

Mine was in 2007. I was just getting into metal and I had heard of how the band had amazing guitar work. I checked out their cover of Master of Puppets and thought that it was decent. Not as good as I expected but decent. Then I checked out Gunshot and said, "That was the most amazing solo I've ever heard." I've been hooked since. |

i got the ozzfest dvd from 2005 which has Trivium playing gunshot on it. from there, i found the funny interpretation videos of like light to flies and such, and loved those songs. i actually was not a huge fan of the crusade, so that album kind of turned me off of them. one of my buddies was obsessed with the album. i remember looking up videos of them playing live and finding the download videos from when matt wasn't screaming and thought it was shit, but then i saw them for the crusade tour, and he magically could scream again, which made me happy. then, when shogun came out, at first i didn't like it (I only heard down from the sky, and travis' drums to the verse pissed me off, still do) but the same buddy made me sit and listen to the whole album while he sat and laughed at me while my nuts were blown off. |

My first time I heard them was watching the "Like Light to Flies" video on Headbangers Ball in '05. I was an instant fan! It's still one of my favorite tunes......I can't say it's the favorite cuz well, we all know that's impossible to have one favorite with this band! \m/ |

My first was a random trip to a local hmv in late 2005 for my first metal cd decided i would try getting into it as never found a genre that gripped me. Saw ascendancy and thought "this cover looks cool" so decided to pick it up, got picked up to go home and with impatience hijacked my parents car cd player and fired it straight on. The obsession began fell in love with it so much that i went back next day to buy ember. several years later i have a trivium logo on my back and a sort of half sleeve from the shogun art book of prometheus ^_^ |
