I saw them at The Quest Club back in 2005 when they were opening up for Children of Bodom and Amon Amarth (I think). I've been a fan ever since.

I was really bored one day on myspace and I was doing one of those surveys. I had to think of 20 random people and one of the questions was what's whatever number's favorite band. I didn't know so I asked him and he told me Trivium. I had no idea who they were, I'd never heard of them. So I looked them up on myspace and heard one of their songs and thought Holy sh*! These guys are awesome! How did I not know about them before this?! Thats pretty much the way it is with every band he introduces to me.

I first heard the very first single from Ascendancy, "Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr" through the earphones of a friend's MP3 player. I wasn't initially impressed but I decided to get the album and give it a chance. I wasn't a metal fan so to speak at the time so I wasn't accustomed to the music but it grew on me. I also went to a local show they played in my hometown during 2005. Unfortunately, I missed a show of theirs in 2007 because I was working nights. I've been following Trivium intently for over 3 years now.

My first time I heard trivium were :"gunshot to the head..." and "down from the sky"from a friend ,eho told me that trivium was a well known band as slipknot(IM A VERY HUGE SLIPKNOT FAN!! XDDD!). Since I preferred bands that were more intense or harder such as slipknot, pantera,etc, I didnt enjoyed at first. Later, I decided to egt the first album:"Ember to inferno" AND I liked it. As time passed by.. I heard more songs like "light to the flies", "rain" an more.....

And then the guitar solo after words, I thought who the fuck is this, they are amazing, the next day I bought Shogun and was blown away, the next week I bought the Crusade, then the week after that Ascendancy, then finally Ember, LMAO, I listened to there albums in descending order.

the first song I heard was a gunshot to the head of trepidation, in 2005 or 2006... i don't remember... i was watching rock tv (an italian channel), and i was shocked, because that four guys was so powerful... I loved theyr music immediatly...

I first heard Trivium properly (I had heard Pull Harder and Gunshot, but only parts of them) when my mate showed me Rain, I was like holy sh*! I need to get this album, went out and bought it the same day

I heard Gunshot on Kerrangs Best of 2005 CD and I've never looke back :D
