QUOTE(Podgie @ Aug 8 2009, 02:25 PM) The whole point of my post was that it'll be a close match.. especially at Celtic Park. Though honestly, Arsenal are capable of ripping the shit out of Celtic.
They are, but they should have ripped Stoke and Hull to pieces as well.
QUOTE(Madden @ Aug 9 2009, 04:44 AM) No, I hate wankers who bring politics into sport. Its 11 men against 11 men, thats it. If you want to be a fascist, or wear an orange sash, do it in your own time. These clubs affiliated with stupid shit like this, militant firms using the vaguely apparent veil of football to disguise the fact they have pent up sadomaschistic homosexual aggression which they need a release for, can fuck off for all I care. Panathanaikos wear a shamrock as well, and I really wouldnt mind if they got beat by a Mykynos XI.
Good. Can you go to Glasgow and tell everyone that please?

All this Scottish league talk reminds me, there is this bloke at my other job who is mad Rangers fan. Him and his girlfriend are quite scottish, it's hard to understand him sometimes, very thick accent. He's a good bloke, also into his rugby too.

If he's a Rangers fan he probably supports England, ask him if he does.
The SPL starts tomorrow. Now that's a proper league. Hopefully Dundee United won't fade away towards the end like they have the previous two seasons and secure a European spot.

Yeah, none of that "5 or 6 teams in with half a chance" up there. One or the other. Makes life more secure.

Scunthorpe 0 - 2 Middlesbrough
Another good away win for Boro tonight. Johnson scored both, again showing he's the man at Boro right now. Really fucking proud, hoping we can keep hold of our squad till the transfer window closes. Then, watch out Championship!
