Haha i did go. It was awesome Highlights of the weekend being Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, Celesty, Equilibrium, and of course Turisas and Amon Amarth. Cradle of Filth leaving the stage mid-set due to their guitarist being hit on the head with a jawbreaker was also hilarious.

Amusing maybe. But I think people who do such behaviour are dickheads.
Just because you dont like a band doesnt mean you can attack them, especially when the instrumentalists are just doing their job. Fair enough people have a problem with Cradle of Filth for their music direction, or Dani Filth or the popularity they have gotten. But whatever their beef is, it doesnt give them the right to be a fucking idiot and throw shit at a band. I mean, yeah it only injured him. But what if this went TOO FAR.. and he got killed? Hmmm that would be a different story to deal with. Sorry for the angry rant. I can understand why it might be slightly funny (everyone likes a bit of slap stick) But Elliot, you're in a band. How would you feel if some cunt disrupted a Ravenage/Windrider set by throwing shit at you? Say if one of these flying objects actually contacted with you and caused you to have to cut short your set. What would YOU do? It wouldn't be funny I am sure.
Things like this can have serious repercussions. Who knows what might happen if someone does die because of such a display of human stupidity? Man, this isn't being metal. It's being a fucking savage!

Musicians who get hit with shit are more likely to get seriously injured anyway, because they're up there concentrating on their performance. You may as well just get up on stage and punch them. Which is really a collossal waste of time.
