Im using a death metal pedal right now, it's not bad but the boss metal zone completely overwhelms it. |

I'm looking to buy a new bridge pick up for my Ibanez S470. I play a mixture of Prog (Dream Theater, Symphony X etc.) and thrash (Annihilator, Kreator, Death Angel etc.) and want a pick up that will give me a good mix for both. I've heard a lot about Dimarzio (namely the X2N and the Super Distortion) but I don't want to pick one that will have too much/too little output. |

Things like that are cool, and great for what they are. But if you really want a great recorded sound the best thing you can do is buy a good mic and mic your amp. |
