Location: Osaka Posts: 550 Member #: 10,642 Joined: 09/01/2009	It wasnt completely shit. It had a very smooth neck but the higher frets wernt properly attatched. Not amazing tone, considering the pickups were just HZ's, good enough for rock/ metal. No versatility, very stale clean sound. Its still a Les Paul so its slightly heavier than other guitars but if you cant carry it than go to the gym you pussy!

Posts: 9 Member #: 18,580 Joined: 09/15/2009	Ok ive jsut got my check and now i have 2400 to spend on a guitar and amp, I was thinkin to get a krankenstein for now and wait for my next check to buy a new guitar. But is it worth it to spend that much??? on an AMP, has anyone tried it or own it that could tell me how the distortion and clean sounds? The guitar im thinkin is an ESP EC-1000 or a Jackson Dinky Reverse any advice would be great

The guitars I looked at were: Gibson Explorer Dean From Hell Dean Razorback - Slime Bumblebee ESP Eclipse I CTM ESP SV ESP MII UC Jackson RR can't remember what model it was Gibson Les Paul Studio

Posts: 144 Member #: 18,515 Joined: 09/15/2009	Ok im thinking of getting a half stack and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good ones with a really good tone that I wouldnt need a overdrive pedal unless i wanted one for that extra punch between the $1000.00 pricre range. Also i would probably prefer a tube. also i was looking at the marshall jmp1 pre amp and does it have a good tone to it also?
