US: Megadeth, In Flames, Children of Bodom, Job For A Cowboy, and High on Fire.
UK: Megadeth, Job For A Cowboy, and Evile.

This tour is so NOT worth going to for me. Makes me really wish I went in '06.

I got my ticket for the Birmingham date for the UK one.
And it's "High on Fire"
TBH.. Both line ups look decent to me.

Wish I had tickets to this.
Although I suppose I will get to see Bodom at Wacken and im not all that fussed about In Flames and High on Fire..

Looks awful to me, especially for the price. Evile are really good live but Job For A Cowboy are just dull and Megadave is hit and miss... he can be brilliant but I've also walked off from the band after barely a couple of songs they were that bad, just not worth taking the chance IMO.

Would love to go to the US one, but the NYC date is on a night I can't go to.

Megadeth are great and so are bodom. In flames kind of lick goat scroat these days but maybe they'll play behind space.

QUOTE(Madden @ Jan 18 2008, 02:02 AM) And there's just something not quite right about Megadeth without the mighty Marty.
It's still fucking Megadeth. I love Marty Friedman but him being absent doesn't change all that much.
To be honest I think the UK line up is as good as the US. I mean, im not bothered about Job For A Cowboy so we can forget about them. High on Fire and In Flames aren't bands I would really go out of my way to see, and I think I would enjoy seeing Evile as much (if not more) than Children Of Bodom.

Wow the US one is terrible. The UK one is good. But theres only 2 good bands there out of the whole thing, Evile and Megadeth.
In Flames AND Children of Bodom..........it makes me sick!

Personally I would love to see Dark Tranquillity with Megadeth rather then Job For A Cowboy, because I think DT have had more of the 'Deth influence then JFAC have had. And also, melodic death metal bands touring with thrash metal bands makes sense to me.
In Flames have forgotten their DM roots.
Children of Bodom are worthy enough for support with Megadeth IMO.
Evile go hand in hand with Megadeth, being a thrash band.
High on Fire, are an excellent band that might not be thrash but they do make a good contrast and that sorta works.
I like JFAC but tbh, I would rather have Dark Tranquillity or Mors Principum Est or Insomnium supporting them you know.
Thats my opinion on it all.
BTW.. what era of songs are Megadeth most likely to play? I want some classics from Rust in Peace man!!!

Got my tickets for the Detroit (Clarkston) date should be one of the best shows of the first six months of the year, right next to the Hatebreed
dvd shoot at Harpos.
