how about those sweeps that go pretty much from the bottom of the fretboard all the way accross to the top? i forgot what they're called.
Oh, and the brown note isn't real. Mythbusters disproved it.

damn, thats tyhe last day prank out of the window then
i think a lesson on basic theory would be good cos it would help so many people, like include basic chord nams and basic stuff like that, cos thats where people faall i reckon

Dude, everyone wants complex shit... Any chance of doing a metal rythm lesson or song writing lesson? You have to have the foundation first before you can lay down a sweet-ass lead or solo.

guys, listen up.
before you go right to complex stuff
get a foundation set.
before you sweep, you need to learn hammer ons and pull offs.
id start off with learning real basic stuff
-palm mutes
-hammer ons
-pull offs
-legato picking
-octaves
-harmonics
-pinch harmonics
then move onto complex stuff such as sweeping.
i havent even begun to sweep yet, no need for it.
a lot of the worlds "best shredders" dont sweep.
just constantly downpick for a while
then in your solos start adding up strokes too.
then eventually, get those pinches in there 8)
