Location: London, London Posts: 160 Member #: 10,628 Joined: 09/01/2009	tube amps are much louder than solid state amps... roughly 3 times louder depending on the transformers,tubes,etc. etc. So 60 watts is 180 ss watts, just think about that when you think 60 isn't enough. Hell 20 or 25 watts would probly be enough to play a teen center or small bar.
