Hardest Trivium Song on Guitar
September 16, 2009 1:55:51 AM UTC Post #1

What is the hardest/most difficult song for you guys to play on guitar? For me it is Fugue simply because of the speed of the downstrokes. Next to follow would be either When All Light Dies or Ember to Inferno.
I can't coordinate myself to play downstrokes that fast, but nevertheless it gives me a hell of a workout just even attempting it. Most of the Ascendancy riffs arent that bad.

i dunno i haven't learned em all yet but it thought requiem was kinda tricky and like light to flies is hard to get the sound right

by saying hardest you've been too general, people are at different levels and will apporach the songs differently. for instance, you say ETI is hard, i find it piss easy. in fact, the only riff that has presented me any bother is the main riff to Suffocating Sight, but even then it didnt take me long to crack it.

Piss Easy? The riff itself is easy to play. But what I am talking about is the downstroke speed. Piss Easy? Damn, thats cool then...

Sufficating sight. That's the one i'm having trouble with.

Yeah that took a few weeks to get down, but it's actually rather easy once you get it.
Fugue is my favorite trivium song to play, mainly because it helps me work on my rhythm

well the hardest song (which i havent dared to play) would be storm. the solo will want you to slap someone in the face.

the suffocating sight riff is easy when u get the hang of it, there solos are whats really hard to learn not really there riffs
i havent heard the storm yet (which im still waiting to hear)
id say detonation is the hardest but i havent seen the tab for it
so it just sounds hard to me
