I've really been enjoying Helloween lately. They're probably one of my favourite bands.
I've bought 'Seven keys...' parts 1 and 2, and they're both awesome albums. But I would like it if people were to recomend their other good albums.

Keeper Of The Seven Keys part 1 and 2 are amazing! Walls Of Jericho is also one of my favorite albums

Helloween are the metal power.

I think I prefere Keepers 1 from 2. And Walls Of Jericho is amazing, as well as the EP.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH IT'S HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!!

TONIGHT!
I see they have plenty of other albums as well, what're they like?

You should mostly ask Rick. but The rest of their albums are very Meh to me. The two others after Keepers 2 and 1 aren't that good, even though there's Kiske. But you should get Walls Of Jericho, it has the EP with it.

i could never really get into Helloween.

I'll get that some time in the near future then. I've seen a few of their albums in the shops but they've been too expensive, and any album with the title 'Pink Bubbles go Ape' kind of puts me off. I was looking at the Singles box in HMV the other day and I was tempted, but it was £30 and I would rather buy all the albums seperately anyway, to get all their songs.

I really have to be in the mood for Helloween, but at any given time I can really enjoy The Keeper of the Seven Keys Pt.1.

Get Walls of Jericho IMMEDIATELY. Just about any version you pick up will have the Helloween EP first (which is, in my opinion, their best work) followed by the Walls of Jericho album and Judas as well. This is my favorite Helloween album along with the first Keeper album.
Other than that, I really don't care for much of what Helloween did. The Dark Ride has its moments, but really pales in comparison to the first three albums. If you are looking for some kind of continuation, you should check out other Kai projects like Gamma Ray or Iron Savior.

Absolutely amazing band. Perfectly combining brilliant thrashy riffs with power metal epicness. Keepers I and II are the obvious favourites, WoJ is very good as well, but I prefer Kai's work in Gamma Ray. Pink Bubbles and Chameleon are only really albums you should invest in if you're as big a fan of Kiske's vocals as I am. They don't really interest me after that, sort of blended into Power Metal mediocrity.

I'll try find it in town on saturday then.
Just found this on the website:
QUOTEHELLOWEEN will release their new single, "Light the Universe", on November 13 via SPV Records (November 10 in Germany). The title cut is said to be the first-ever duet in the band's history, which also features an appearance by BLACKMORE'S NIGHT singer Candice Night.
In addition to the single version of "Light the Universe", this four-track single offers bonus material in the form of a video for the title track, directed by Alexander Diezinger (NEGATIVE, L'AME IMMORTELLE, EXILIA) at Veldenstein Castle in southern Germany, the track "Revolution" (penned by bassist Markus Großkopf, recorded for Japan and previously unreleased in Europe), as well as an appetizer for the band's upcoming live album — a stage version of "If I Could Fly", recorded in Sao Paulo in March 2006.
Scheduled for release in February 2007, HELLOWEEN's new double live DVD and CD will be available in two versions (standard and limited edition), with tracks recorded in Sofia, Tokyo and Sao Paulo, among others.
