I am looking forward to the new album as much as everyone else. Being honest I've listened to "In Waves" numerous times and I'm incredibly impressed with how they sound now. Since dropping their tuning the sound is more badass but always has Trivium's own signature style and input in the songs. Trivium are one of the greatest metal bands that have surfaced in about 20 years in my opinion. I hope that everyone can enjoy the upcoming album as much as I will and that it won't turn out like the crusade did. Now I'm not saying The Crusade is a bad album I infact love it, it showed their technical proficiency and concreted the band as great songwriters. But I know a lot of people who said that they'd sold out thanks to their lighter sond back then. I just hope this album isn't taken up the same way. Like come on... Seriously? The Crusade had to follow the greatest modern metal album written in Ascendancy and 2011's album has to follow Shogun which is also such a dangerous piece of art. But to my main point. LOL apologies I ranted a bit. Trivium fans from Ireland join me in BEGGING!!! for this band to return and play a show for us. I don't care where it is in the country I'll be there. Let me know what you all think. |
