QUOTE(Descend The Hero @ Nov 22 2008, 02:17 PM) holy crap another trivium fan, from new zealand. now there 3 people from nz on the trivium forum hahaha.
Welcome, Dude Gutard that you missed trivium, cause no descent metal bands ever come to new zealand.... well except for machine head and maiden who are comming in feb.
And i rekon the only you could see trivium live, well again, even if they do a world tour would be to fly over to aus and go see em.
Anyway Welcome. NZ represent.
Your from NZ too! wicked!
I know ae it sux.I've only been to two gigs in my 17 years of existence and that was Big Day Out and HIM and both of them I had to go to Auckland and I live in the South Island so basically all the gigs I want to go to I can't because of where I live.It totally sux.
Fingers crossed for them coming back.If they did I'd fly to Auckland to see them.

that is some tough luck there (no comment on the my chemical romance part ).
i am pretty sure your chances to see them are not as bad as you think though...especially with the new album out and all....perhaps a world tour is coming up ?...might just catch them near you when that occurs..best of luck with that anyway.
and welcome to the forum, enjoy and all that.

that sucks you missed them at BDO. fingers crossed they're back in NZ or that you get to see them. I've seen them twice, both times were great, and I met them few years. I was kicking myself missing them first time were in Northern Ireland but luckily they've come back here!

just act normal, i'm sure anyone else who's met the guys will agree they're dead on. i've heard stories bout people meeting bands they've loved for ages and been really disappointed with arrogant attitudes n stuff. trivium arent like that at all.

Trivium are awesome guys. I know it's just an expression, but Matt has actually offered me the shirt off his back before. =D

They seem really down to earth which is wicked.I've never met anyone famous.
I did met the lead singer from a famous (dunno if famous is the right word but meh) NZ band The Bleeders when he was working in a tattoo shop and he was so nice. When his cell phone rang he said he'd call them back and hung up so he could keep talking to me.

Join Triviumworld... then when they finally make it to our shores you'll definately get a chance to meet them
Met them after the show in Sydney, and although it was really crowded (loads of groupies who knew fuck all about the band and friends of people at the venue, grrrr) they were really nice. Matt signed my ticket twice haha.

Thats so cool.I really hope they make it here in 09.
Are you joined to it? would it be worth it after the money conversion and all it would be way more expensive.

Yup, I joined the first day.
It's definately worth the money, I can guarantee that. In fact, it's the only fanclub I've joined that actually IS worth the money (at one point I belonged to 6). The fee is pretty small considering what you get. There's videos and competitions and stuff, but by far the coolest part is the fact that the guys all have profiles and they post quite regulary. Blogs and posts on the forums, PMs, chatroom etc.
You get a package too, best thing is the DVD. And of course you are pretty much going to get a meet and greet if you go to one of their concerts (only way you might miss out is if more than 30 people sign up at any one gig, which hasn't happened yet).
So def, if you can, go join
